Switch between warm, neutral, and cool light to match fog, clear trails, or night runs.
- 800 lumen maximum brightness over 120 meters
- Three color temperatures: 3000K warm (CRI 97), 4500K neutral (CRI 83), 6500K cool (CRI 73)
- Dual power: HLB1500 Li-ion battery pack or 3x AAA batteries
- Up to 88 hours runtime on ultralow, 13 hours at 100 lumens
- 5 brightness levels, 3 special modes, red light with high/low/slow flashing
- IP66 dust-tight and water jet resistant, 1m impact resistant
- Charges from empty to full in approximately 1 hour 30 minutes via USB-C

The adaptable headlamp for hikers, trail runners, and campers who move through changing conditions.
MATCH YOUR LIGHT TO THE CONDITIONS - Pick warm 3000K when fog rolls in on the ridge, neutral 4500K for stream crossings at dusk, or cool 6500K during your evening park run. One button press switches between all three.
ALL-NIGHT LIGHT AT PRACTICAL BRIGHTNESS - The included HLB1500 battery covers a full tropical night (Nitecore defines "all night" as the 12 hours between 6pm and 6am) at a brightness level that handles camp setup, trail navigation, and GPS checks with about an hour to spare.
WIDE BEAM COVERS YOUR FULL VISION - The flood beam exceeds 100 degrees, lighting up your entire peripheral view. On technical terrain, you see the root at your feet and the switchback ahead at the same time—no head-swiveling to check your footing.
TRUE COLORS WHEN DETAILS MATTER - The warm light setting renders every shade accurately. Identify trail markers by color in fog, assess an injury properly during a first aid situation, or spot that missing carabiner at the bottom of your pack.
STAYS BRIGHT DURING LONG BURNS - The aluminum alloy heat sink pulls heat away from the LEDs, keeping your output stable throughout extended use.
DOUBLES AS A CAMP LANTERN - The included diffusing stuff sack transforms the headlamp into ambient tent lighting for meal prep, reading, or evening card games. Doubles as a storage pouch when not in use.
WHY THE HA25 UHE OUTPERFORMS STANDARD HEADLAMPS
Every runtime and distance figure on this page is measured under the ANSI/PLATO FL1-2019 standard—the same benchmark professionals use to compare headlamps. The numbers you see here match what you'll get in the field.
With the HLB1500 battery and headband attached, the HA25 UHE weighs 91 grams. Light enough to forget you're wearing it during long treks, but packed with features that heavier headlamps struggle to match.
Use the included rechargeable HLB1500 for daily use, or swap in three AAA batteries from any store worldwide. Most headlamps lock you into one battery type—the HA25 UHE gives you a backup option wherever you travel.
The TrueVision+ optical system delivers over 94% of the LED output to your beam—significantly higher than standard headlamp optics, giving you more usable light from the same battery.

12-Core MCT UHE LED Technology: Patent-Pending Color Temperature Control
Six Dual-Core LEDs, Three Color Temperatures, One Array
The HA25 UHE uses six dual-core MCT (Multiple Color Temperatures) UHE LEDs—12 cores total. This patent-pending design (Utility Model Patent No. CN202323108231.8, EU & US Patent Pending) delivers three distinct color temperatures with variable CRI levels from a single LED array.
The TrueVision+ unibody multi-faceted optical lens creates a flood beam exceeding 100 degrees through a 1,065mm² reflective surface and 46.9mm light-emitting surface. The result is soft, even illumination across the full beam width.
How to switch: Short press the MODE button to cycle through Neutral White → Warm Light → Cool White. If warm or cool light has been active for over 1 minute, pressing MODE returns directly to neutral white (skipping the other temperature).
BUILT FOR THE WAY YOU ACTUALLY USE A HEADLAMP
High CRI warm light for wildlife observation and trail assessment in variable weather conditions.
Lightweight enough for multi-day treks, with dual power options that keep you covered deep into a route.
Cool 6500K white light provides maximum brightness and efficiency for urban night runs and park training.
Warm 3000K light creates a comfortable atmosphere for meal prep, reading, and evening downtime at camp.

Two Power Sources, One Battery Compartment
Choose Your Battery Based on Your Trip
NITECORE HLB1500 LI-ION BATTERY PACK (INCLUDED) - 1500mAh rechargeable pack. 13 hours at 100 lumens, up to 88 hours on ultralow. Charges from empty to full in approximately 1 hour 30 minutes via USB-C at 5V/1A. Your go-to for weekend trips and daily use.
STANDARD AAA BATTERIES - The same battery compartment accepts three AAA alkaline (1.5V) or rechargeable Ni-MH (1.2V) cells. 8 hours 30 minutes at 100 lumens on alkaline. Grab a pack from any store worldwide when you need backup power.
Note: Turbo mode (800 lumens) is only available with the HLB1500 pack. AAA batteries max out at High mode (450 lumens). Rechargeable LFP (3.2V) and Li-ion (3.7V) 10400-size batteries are incompatible.

Designed for One-Handed Operation
INTUITIVE DUAL-BUTTON CONTROL - Two buttons with distinct shapes and textures let you operate the headlamp by feel alone. The power button handles on/off and brightness (LOW → MID → HIGH). The mode button switches color temperatures.
FOUR-WAY MOUNTING CLIP - The included clip attaches to cap brims and backpack straps. Keep hands free during camp setup, or clip it to your hat as a reading light.
LOCKOUT MODE - Long press both buttons for 2 seconds to lock. Your headlamp stays off in your pack, preserving battery. Long press both buttons again for 2 seconds to unlock back to Neutral White ULTRALOW.
POWER INDICATORS - Four LED indicators display remaining battery status at a glance. Four bars means 75–100%, down to one bar at 0–25% (recharge or replace soon). Short press either button when the light is off to check.

From 6-Lumen Tent Light to 800-Lumen Trail Finder
6-LUMEN ULTRALOW MODE - Soft, eye-friendly light designed for days of continuous use on a single charge. Check your watch at 2 AM, read in the tent, or navigate camp without waking anyone.
RED LIGHT AUXILIARY - Preserves your night vision during after-dark use. High (15 lumens) and low (5 lumens) settings plus slow flashing mode for emergency signaling or group visibility.
800 LUMENS TURBO AT 120 METERS - Maximum output lights up distant trail markers and terrain features. Activate by long-pressing the power button while any color temperature is on. Short press either button to return to your previous brightness level.
SOS AND BEACON MODES - Emergency signaling patterns accessible by double-pressing the MODE button from any headlamp state, then cycling with the power button through SOS → Beacon → Slow Flashing.

Comfort and Protection for Extended Use
BREATHABLE REFLECTIVE HEADBAND - Hollow-weave construction manages sweat during active use while reflective elements increase your visibility to others. Adjustable fit stays secure during movement—scrambling over boulders or running park loops.
IP66 DUST AND WATER PROTECTION - Fully sealed against fine dust and protected against powerful water jets from any direction. Keep going when the weather turns, or clean the headlamp under running water after a muddy trip.
ONE-METER IMPACT RESISTANCE - Constructed from special PC plastic engineered for impact and low-temperature performance. Survives drops from 1 meter onto hard surfaces and maintains function in cold conditions.
QUICK-ACCESS ULTRALOW - When the headlamp is off, double-press the power button to jump straight to Neutral White ULTRALOW. Useful for quick checks in the tent without cycling through brighter modes.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I use rechargeable AAA batteries?
Yes. The battery compartment accepts rechargeable Ni-MH AAA batteries (1.2V) in addition to standard alkaline AAAs (1.5V). Do not use 10400-size rechargeable LFP (3.2V) or Li-ion (3.7V) batteries—these are incompatible.
What's the practical difference between the three color temperatures?
3000K warm light (CRI 97) cuts through fog, rain, and snow with minimal glare and renders colors most accurately—useful for identifying colored trail markers or assessing injuries. 4500K neutral white (CRI 83) is the most versatile setting for general trekking and camp tasks. 6500K cool white (CRI 73) delivers maximum brightness and efficiency, making it the best pick for night running and situations where output matters more than color rendering.
How do I switch between color temperatures?
Short press the MODE button while the primary light is on. The sequence cycles: Neutral White → Warm Light → Cool White. If warm or cool light has been active for over 1 minute, pressing MODE skips directly back to neutral white. This shortcut saves button presses since neutral white is the most commonly used temperature.
Will the headlamp turn on accidentally in my bag?
The lockout mode prevents accidental activation. Long press both buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds—the headlamp flashes once to confirm it's locked. Brightness, mode, and special mode controls are all disabled in lockout. Long press both buttons again for 2 seconds to unlock. Note: the headlamp automatically unlocks when you replace batteries.
