Just finished my 9-day Arctic Circle Trail (Greenland). I have to say, at first, the fabric felt a little bit too light like is it going to be strong enough for my nine-day hike? But it was light and strong it does everything it says it will. Observes water and dries quickly. I love it. only thing I could say as a girl I hope that they will make one more size, a little bit bigger so you could wrap around your body. This large size towel you cannot wrap around your body unfortunately.

Perfect Hand-Drying Towel. This small towel is the perfect size and material to dry hands after washing them. I put one next to my workspace sink - the plastic clip keeps it in place on the towel bar, and it has efficiently and effectively replaced an entire roll of paper towels.

long-term international travel. I travel out of one backpack 6-8 months each year and always bring this towel. At 5'11" it is JUST the right size to fully dry myself after a shower. It is always completely dry by the next time I need to use it. Be warned though, if you have long hair, you would certainly need a separate towel for that. Sometimes I don't need it at all, sometimes it is my only towel for a month straight. At <100g I don't mind having it permanently in my pack.
Packs Tiny and Does The Job. I wanted to get my luggage down from a 40L backpack, to a 19L one for a 3-4 week international trip. This towel made that possible. It dries me well enough (about 90% dry) which is fine. The towel dries out real quick and it packs down to nothing. Super useful and met my strangely specific need!

Excellence. I've been purchasing matador products for years. I have had multiple of the other towels. and when I say multiple it's not that they wore out or anything I simply just kept loosing the holder. Great ultralight. Has its limitations but if you need an ultralight bathing towel to pat yourself dry on a trek, this does its job as advertised. The snap clip for hang drying is a good addition.

Good and pocketable. Very good absorbency, getting my body dry in two wipes. Possible room for improvement would be the texture. It feels nothing like a towel. (Not bad but weird and slightly too thin). I also wish there was a bigger version that I can wrap my body around with.

Crazy convenient towel, but slightly underwhelming. A convenient and lightweight towel as it would fit in most people's pockets which is how they market it. However, as someone who is 6'4'', this towel leaves a lot to be desired. I used it in emergency shower situations but otherwise just rented towels from hostels instead. The biggest issue was trying to use it as a beach towel because it only covered enough area for my upper or lower body. I love the material, how quickly it dries, and how lightweight it is, but you definitely need to make a significantly larger version.

As compact as it gets. Perfect little piece of tissue to put in your bag without adding weight, nor taking place. Don't be fooled however, it's not a "towel" but the size of a handkerchief ; which is perfect for my needs.

Good but not perfect. I cannot say I’m fully satisfied, it is indeed portable and ultra light, but the size simply is too small, same as other reviews, I would need 2 to fully dry, large size is more for a child/teenager. Interesting product, I cannot fully recommend it as I have mixed feelings about the product size and drying capabilities. If you only look to save grams and be portable then yes I can recommend it.

A fantastic lightweight and small (when packed) towel that is only a little larger than the palm of your hand. Great for travelling or short trips where you want a full-size towel, but you don't have space for a full-size traditional towel. Dries fairly quickly too . Like the small towel, it also comes with a sewn in/attached male and female buckles which makes it easy to clip/hang the towel from/to things. A potential negative is that compared to a traditional bath towel, it is on the thinner side.

This is hands-down the best backpacking towel. It is so compact, yet super absorbent at the same time. It is a staple in my gear and I would recommend it to anyone embarking on a backcountry trek or even an extended vacation (it's great for hostels too!). It dries fast and washes up nicely and seems to be pretty durable. My only suggestion to Matador would be to lengthen the strap on the clip a little bit so that you can ditch the carrying case and use the clip to keep the towel rolled and secured to your pack.
This is the best UL Towel on the market right now, in my opinion. Personally, it works great and is ultra light but was too small for my taste. The beach towel is a bit bigger and more like a regular towel size, but the changing poncho works best for what I need. Unless you're counting grams, you may like the larger-sized options.
Is this the most comfortable towel, not at all. But this is perfect for travel as a back up plan. When I travel, I stay in all kind of accommodations, some of which don’t provide towels. Fits in to my backpack and takes very little room

So I’ve been trying to look for a portal towel for some time now. Since my gym opens back up the showers I really wanted to shower there after working out but I don’t want to bring one of my regular towels which are very bulky. Now I’ve never bought any portable towels, so I won’t ahead and did some research through google and YouTube, found out that Matador had some really good towels. So I went ahead and purchased 2 of the portable towels (one with the mesh cover ) ( the other towel with the silicone cover) And they were really great for something so small and compact . Also very easy to dry as well in the sun they dry in almost 30 min or less. Now indoors they take around 1 hour 30 min. Now they don’t completely dry you off not like a cotton towel where you can be dry to the bone. There is still some dampness on your skin so your not super dry, but hey you aren’t wet either. But I’ve never had any other portable towels so I can’t really compare to other ones but for now this one holds first place.
