Great but not sure how to get the cat back in the bag. it is great but i have no idea how to put in back in the pouch pocket. the videos i found don't detail it.
I had been looking for a packable changing poncho, and this is exactly what I needed. Small enough to always be able to fit it in a small daypack. Dries super fast, and if I want to really save weight and space I can use it as the towel and skip bringing a separate towel.
I love this poncho. I haven't used it but looks ideal for the pool or hot springs with cold weather. Great idea, packs up small and would help dry me off.
Awesome for travel transitions. Awesome for those transition travel moments. I love road tripping to New Mexico (I live in Oklahoma), and NM has a nice variety of hot springs. This poncho is perfect for throwing on real quick for additional coverage when pulling over to check out a roadside spring, and then throwing it back on when you’re annoyed that yes, eventually, you do have to carry on. And you can hang it in the back knowing it will dry quickly AND not take a ton of space in your pack. Matador is the king of packable, usable gear.
This will do the job, and it has to be thin to be packable, but just know that it IS very thin, probably not good for warmth. I plan to use it for SCUBA.
I havnt used it yet, but the functionality of the product will serve me very well if I use it atleast as a mobil changing room and something to wear and cover my modest when all other clothes are in the laundromat
Worth it. The poncho not only looks good but feels nice as well. Quick to dry but I think what really stands out is that you don't have to struggle to put it back into its case. Which conveniently turns into a little pocket attached to the poncho.

Exactly what i was looking for that didnt exist. I always hated to have to take a towel with me to the beach or lake so i would always choose to “air dry” when i saw this new poncho i thought it would work perfectly for me. I am already familiar to the towel material so i cant wait to use it for the first time! Totally recommend.
Zip Issue. I am a fan of Matador and live in the UK so postage adds quite a bit to the price. I recently purchased the NanoDry towel and all is good except the reverse zip when it is folded into the pouch. The zip isn’t secure so the draw/slide comes off the end of the zip when closing. Not like Matador’s usual attention to detail. (As a suggestion, it would be useful to have sleeves as when the winds blowing your arms get chilled!).
Solid, but the drawstring tho…. Digging it; that said, the drawstring for the hoodie comes out quite easily. I know, I know, “Dude, that’s a minor issue one can easily resolve;” yet I find myself wishing I didn’t have it. Otherwise, great kit. Look forward to a possible cold weather option.
Very unique and well done. I've never seen anything quite like this. It is much lighter and more compact than other changing robes. The fabric is very absorbent. It is cut so it is easy to put on and take off. The zipper pocket that converts to a pouch for poncho storage is a practical way to keep track of a few valuables. The hood is good. I'm intrigued and delighted by this thing.
The sleeves are a bit short. Compare to other changing poncho in the market, this one is the lightest and most packable, but the sleeves are a bit too short. It is easier for a man to change pants with it but might be challenging for ladies to change swim suit with it.
Packable Changing poncho. I’ve been looking for a compact changing poncho for races/kayaking/boating and this one fits the bill and does pack down into its pocket. I do wish there were more color options, but am happy with the purchase overall.
When a poncho replaces all your towels it’s so comfy. Highly recommend. kid you not I’ve been shamelessly going for it instead of my bath-towels (restoration hardware) at home because it’s so soft, comfy and quick drying. Great as my main backpacking, surf, canyoning etc towel for the outdoors due to lightweight quality and size. Great for the beach as sand doesn’t stick to it…anywhere you need to get dry. Love it at hot springs too! Must add to your adventure arsenal.
The bag is a little small when packing the towel back to being packable. Becareful not to force it back in. Otherwise, it's good for travel if you can pack it right.
Full Send. So I have a similar product made by a well known surfing company. This blows the other poncho out of the water. It’s super small when packed up right, drys you off super fast and drys pretty quick for packing. 10 out of 10
Best Travel and Camping Purchase. This was an excellent product idea!! The material absorbs so much water so quickly I was in shock. Purchased this for camping at Glastonbury and this was the best thing ever. Light weight, great towel and cover, dried quickly long before the next use, and no funny smells for the full 5 days of camping.
Really Good. I've owned a few ponchos for surfing and usually they are bulky or heavy, at least when I pack it in my surf backpack. This Matador poncho is lightweight and you can just crumble it inside a small pocket on your backpack. Super convenient and I really like how it's lightweight. Also it is large inside for changing. I don't have any complaints when I change in and out of my wetsuit. It also doesn't feel like it will just lift up with the wind, for some reason it stays in place while you are changing must be because edits so lightweight.
Really works. Although I look nothing like the models in the pictures (except in my mind ) this is a perfect item for after bath / shower and really dries you off thoroughly.
Drawstring from hood issue. Hello there! As a long-time satisfied customer of ME, I must express that this item is incredibly useful for my frequent swimming activities. Please note that the drawstring has become detached from the hood during the washing and drying process. You simply need to determine a quick way to put it back in there. Best, Steven Best, S.
Fantastic. I bought the marble floral towel poncho as a gift for my husband and he loves it! Most of the towel ponchos on the market are thick which makes them unsuitable for hot climates (in my opinion). However, this poncho is thin yet surprisingly absorbent. The material feels high quality and the design is excellent both on a practical and on an aesthetic level. If I could, I would give it 6 out of 5 stars!
Better than beach towel IMO. I had the beach towel for surf trips but got this as a gift. This is so much better in my opinion. It's just like the beach towel, about the same size also, so you can still set it down on the beach and lay on it (buttons towards sand). Obviously, it helps you change also and its a nice layer for after the sun goes down. My girlfriend and her friends use it a lot more to change and everyone who uses it, says they want one.
