Incredibly Receptive Customer Support. The white reusable toothpaste tube clip broke apart on my first time filling it. The cap also broke after a day or two. I reached out to customer service who offered helpful tips on filling the tubes in the future and sent me new tubes. Shaira was a huge help and I received my new tubes today. I had no issues with the black one and I love the product itself.
Great addition to my travel toiletries bag. I really like these Matador Refillable Toothpaste Tubes! They're a fantastic replacement for single-use travel tubes, and it feels good knowing I can refill them indefinitely with my favorite toothpaste, reducing waste. It's great that they come in two useful sizes (1 and 2 week volumes) and are TSA-approved, making travel easier. Plus, knowing they are food-safe, BPA/PVC-free, and even dishwasher safe adds peace of mind. Just a couple of small notes: the caps are quite small, so be careful when handling them. Also, the slide-on clip was a little tough to remove the first time, but running it under some warm water loosened it right up. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this eco-friendly and practical travel solution.
It’s hard to slide the clip on and off but it makss me feel better about potential leakage. I’m skeptical the material will last over multiple uses over the years. Only time will tell!

These refillable tubes are fantastic for toothpaste, lotion, Vaseline, and other liquids! They are small bur will last an entire week - if you get 4! Great product!

Both sizes came in very handy. I used the larger one for two weeks worth of toothpaste, but it felt more! & I used the smaller one to hold my tongue paste. They were great for my 18 days of travel!

Easy to use, a good size, and gives you your selection of toothpaste. You can top it off to make sure you always have enough for the trip without packing an extra. The material is thick enough to feel like it will last.

Great concept and great product. I love the concept and the product! I really dislike buying those little tubes of toothpaste for traveling. They are so wasteful. Plus I never know if I have enough left for my next trip so I have to buy a new full one just to be sure. But with this refillable tube, I never have to worry if there’s enough - I just add more and fill it back up. I used the small (white) one on a recent two-week trip and even though it says it’s for one week, it easily lasted two weeks with more to spare (I don’t use much toothpaste, only a small pea-size). Plus, I use specialty toothpaste that does not come in small travel tubes so this is perfect! My plan is to use the rest up at home, then clean and wash it out, then be ready for my next trip with fresh toothpaste. It’s a little tricky sliding the slider on and off, but it’s manageable. I’m so happy I found this product.
Almost There…. I really like the concept of this and appreciate the two sizes. I haven’t traveled with it yet so I can’t speak to how well it holds up under pressure. However, my initial take did reveal some concerns. It was almost impossible to remove the clamping piece and for somebody like myself who is in the early stages of arthritis I hope that it gets easier with time. I think the product would be better if the closing device clamped on and then rolled up.
I have two sets and they work great for all my liquids to fit in a smaller dopp kit. I use the black ones for toothpaste and lotion (the lotion goes in my work tech kit), then the white ones for face moisturizer and auqafor. Honestly the best way to bring along these items without taking up too much space.
Pretty Good But Could Be Better. These are pretty good. But I feel like they could be better. For one thing, they are just thin plastic. The slide part is hard to get off and hurts my fingers to do so. I wish it was more like a slide and it would also squeeze the product down. The other thing is that it’s only supposed to be used for toothpaste. And I think it should be more versatile. Like if it could be used for lotion that would be great. I think there is just a lot more that could be done with these and overall, it doesn’t meet my expectations.
Tubes performance. It's a very good idea and it fits my needs, but the **** cap breaks easily, as does the piece that closes the tube from below and is removed to refill it

Not Just for Toothpaste. These tubes have held up extremely well over years and countless trips. I love them. Also: I put things in them sometimes that aren't toothpaste, because I love the design so much! So I have one filled with toothpaste and the other filled with face wash. After using these for years, I'm ordering a second pair to use for my shampoo and conditioner because I like them way better than any other reusable travel tube I've ever used. Everything leaks eventually, but not these bad boys!

Great product but…. I have been looking for a product like this for ages for my toothpaste and other products so I don’t have to keep buying small tubes of the products. I have used the larger black one during a few trips no problem but when I recently used the smaller white tube, the cap broke and the tube contents leaked out. I was traveling carry on so it’s not like the bag was handled roughly. Disappointed in the quality of the smaller cap but it’s the first Matador product I have used that has not been excellent so I’m hoping it was just a manufacturing error with this one cap!
Great substitution to small toothpaste tubes. Great solution to small toothpaste tubes. I'm glad that I can finally stop buying the little toothpaste tubes and also bring higher quality toothpaste. I'm switching over to Sensodyne after learning that some of the other brands can cause canker sores (I'm more prone to them when I travel due to sleep disruption). With these tubes, it's not really easy to bring with me as I only bring carry ons.
