Nitecore EDC37 - 420 metre Search beam throwing across a valley - Nitecore Singapore

Two LEDs, two jobs: a wall of light or real reach.

Lumin Shield drives both NiteLab UHi 20 MAX LEDs to 8,000 lumens, lighting a whole yard, room or treeline at once. Switch to Search and the beam concentrates into a 420-metre throw at 44,010 candela to pick out a figure or a sign at distance.

Step down to 1,500-lumen High for everyday tasks, or a 100-lumen Low that reads a map and still runs for 30 hours, so one light covers the close work and the far look.

Nitecore EDC37 - multifunctional OLED real-time display readouts - Nitecore Singapore

A display that tells you exactly where you stand.

The multifunctional OLED screen reads out the current brightness level and battery percentage, the remaining runtime at that level, and charging progress the moment you plug in, plus lockout status. No more guessing whether you have ten minutes or ten hours before a shift or a search.

It turns the EDC37 from a light you hope will last into one you know will, which is exactly what a duty or emergency light should do.

Nitecore EDC37 - dual-stage tactical programmable buttons - Nitecore Singapore

Set the controls to your own sequence, and lock them when you carry.

The dual-stage tactical buttons are fully programmable, so a half-press and a full-press reach the modes you actually use, whether that is straight to Turbo or starting on Low. You set it once and it works the way you do.

Rapid Lock then disables the buttons the moment you want it to, so 8,000 lumens never fires by accident in a pocket, a bag or on a belt, where a stray press means a burn risk and a flat battery by morning.

Nitecore EDC37 - brightness level preset function - Nitecore Singapore

Preset the brightness before you switch on.

Half-press the tail button to set the brightness level before the light is even on, so it comes up at exactly the output the moment calls for. A low glow to check a map without the glare, or full power the instant a search starts, with no scrolling through modes to get there.

Nitecore EDC37 - built-in 8000mAh battery and runtime - Nitecore Singapore

8,000mAh built in, for runtime an EDC light rarely matches.

The built-in 8,000mAh cell feeds the twin LEDs and still leaves 30 hours on Low or 190 hours on Ultralow between charges. Everything is sealed in the body, so there are no spare cells to source and nothing to swap in the field.

That is the headroom a duty or emergency light needs: high output when it counts, and days of low-level runtime when you just need to see.

Nitecore EDC37 - USB-C 18W PD QC fast charging - Nitecore Singapore

USB-C that refills it in about two hours.

The 18W USB-C port supports PD and QC fast charging, taking the battery from flat to full in roughly two hours from a wall plug, a laptop or a power bank. The same port tops it up anywhere a phone charges.

A sealed protection cover keeps water, dust and knocks out of the port between charges, so the only opening in the body stays protected.

Nitecore EDC37 - detachable silicon nitride ceramic glass-breaker tips - Nitecore Singapore

Ceramic tips that break glass when it matters.

High-hardness silicon-nitride ceramic tips ring the bezel, hard enough to shatter a vehicle or building window for a rescue or an escape. They are smooth and scratch-resistant, so the light still carries comfortably in a pocket or bag.

The tips are detachable too, unscrewing with the included tool if you would rather run a lower-profile bezel for everyday carry.

Nitecore EDC37 - stainless steel, carbon fibre and alloy construction - Nitecore Singapore

Built from steel, carbon fibre and alloy.

Stainless-steel side shells, a carbon-fibre composite frame and an aluminium-alloy heat sink lock together into a body rated IP54 and to a 2-metre drop, so dust, rain and knocks do not stop it on duty or on the trail.

Yet at 108mm long and 199g, the flat profile and pocket clip carry like a normal EDC light rather than a full-size searchlight, riding in a pocket, a plate carrier or a kit bag until you need it.

WHY THE EDC37 OVER AN ORDINARY HIGH-OUTPUT LIGHT

Flood and throw in one

An 8,000-lumen flood and a 420m search beam from twin LEDs, where most lights give you one or the other.

You know your runtime

The OLED display shows output and remaining power, so you are not caught short mid-task. Most lights leave you guessing.

Ready for a rescue

Detachable ceramic glass-breaker tips turn it into an escape tool, not just a light, when a window is in the way.

Pocketable power

199g and 108mm with a clip, so searchlight output carries like an everyday light rather than a duty-belt brick.

WHO CARRIES THE EDC37

Security & Duty

8,000-lumen flood for a yard or stairwell and a 420m search beam for perimeter scans and identification.

First Response

Instant high output, a programmable button, a runtime display and ceramic tips to break a window in a rescue.

Search & Outdoors

A 420m throw cuts across a field or trail, and 30 hours on Low keeps a long night or a long hike covered.

Everyday Carry

Rapid Lock keeps it from firing in a pocket and a 15-lumen Ultralow handles everyday tasks, so it carries safely and is not just an 8,000-lumen blaster.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can it hold 8,000 lumens the whole time?

No light this size can. The 8,000-lumen Lumin Shield and 3,000-lumen Search are high-output bursts, and Advanced Temperature Regulation steps output down as the head warms to protect the LEDs and keep the body comfortable to hold. For sustained work, High runs 1,500 lumens for about 7.5 hours.

Is the battery replaceable, and how do I charge it?

The 8,000mAh battery is built in and recharges through the USB-C port, reaching full in about two hours with an 18W PD or QC charger. There are no cells to swap.

How waterproof is it?

The EDC37 is rated IP54, so it shrugs off dust, splashes and rain. It is not sealed for submersion, so avoid dunking it underwater.

This lights is tough, bright, and worth every penny!I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but this light absolutely deserves it.This thing is tough.I dropped it in my gravel driveway without realizing it, and then ran over it with my one-ton service truck pulling a gooseneck equipment trailer.I figured it was done for—but it barely even scratched and still works perfectly.Battery life is excellent, and the brightness you get out of such a small light is seriously impressive.I’ve been very impressed with Nitecore products, and this one just proves it again. If you’re hesitant because of the price, don’t be. Just buy it you’ll be glad you did. It’s worth every penny!

Customer photo review of EDC37 - 8000 lumens

I wanted a stronger light with a battery that would last for a good chunk of time. This thing does that. Very bright on overdrive settings, albeit short use time. And battery is amazing at regular brightness settings. Sort of bulky but obviously since its a bigger battery.

Customer photo review of EDC37 - 8000 lumens

Having upgraded my nite core SRT9 after many years of use. It has served me very well. Decided to upgrade to EDC37 after reviewing for awhile. To me it is a huge jump from not knowing how much battery is left to a display to show the level. USB C charging and the customised button for different scenarios. More important was the light weight of EDC and packing a punch of lumens to illuminate the environment when required. While the SRT9 is still working, will keep it as backup. Thank you for another great product.

Customer photo review of EDC37 - 8000 lumens

Performance:good Quality:good Suitability:cannot hold 8k lumen long Great product. Downside is heavy, bulky and cannot hold 8k lumens for more than 5 seconds. Prolong usage only 1500 lumens. Battery life excellent. 1 week charge one time for average 2hours a day usage

I start to love it so much

Customer photo review of EDC37 - 8000 lumens

I was in the market for a handheld lighting solution and came across the EDC37 by Nitecore Singapore and the performance on this tiny device is unreal. - patented 18 high performance Nitelab UHi 20 MAX micro led that produces up to 8000 lumens of brightness and gets up to 420m range. To put it in perspective a cars high beam generally goes up to 2000 lumens. And it’s remarkably smaller in footprint than a smartphone. - Reaches up to 420m in range. The patented Nitelab UHi 20 MAX micro led directs the light in a concentrated laser type - made from a stainless steel shell with carbon fibre composite and aluminium heat sink, it feels solid, premium and built to last with a well engineered cooling system. Nitecore’s attention to detail in build quality for this handheld is remarkable.

Customer photo review of EDC37 - 8000 lumens

Indeed small hand held, easily access to trigger, powerful lumen & strobe for self protection, a remarkable piece to have, thanks.

Customer photo review of EDC37 - 8000 lumens

Easy and straight forward to use. Great piece of edc tactical light.

Customer photo review of EDC37 - 8000 lumens

Absolute beast of a light in such a compact size. Before the EDC37 I’ve been rotating between the Acebeam Terminator M2 and Loopgear sk05 pro. Both are great lights but for my use and purposes I find that the EDC37 ticks nearly all of the boxes. It is now my favourite main edc light especially when paired with a kydex holster on my sling bag.

Customer photo review of EDC37 - 8000 lumens

I am still WOW by the looks, quality and performance of this beauty. Great product!

Customer photo review of EDC37 - 8000 lumens

Its awesome. there is a real difference when you hold it in your hand. Service and responsiveness from the Chat personnel in the Whatsapp is remarkable. Quick and responsive to every question!

Customer photo review of EDC37 - 8000 lumens

EDC37, it's a compact and powerful light when compared with my EDC29... The specs of the light speaks for itself even it is almost double the thickness and weight of the EDC29 it's still easy to carry and best light thus far... again never regretted the purchase.... yet again Nitecore never fails to surprise me... ps: Nitecore plzzzz slow down, the temptations can be unbearable... 😜

Customer photo review of EDC37 - 8000 lumens

It's the beast of the beast torchlight. Feel solid and made of Titanium metal. However it will be better if the 8000 lumens mode can be longer instead of only few seconds. Overall experience still good. 👍👍👍💪💪💪

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Works great. Lights up a huge area. Does get very hot. Use the safety when in your pocket.

The primary and secondary buttons have half and full detents. The primary cycles thru 15 to 1500. The primary half is 15. The secondary can be programmed for 2 out of 3 strobe, 3k spot, and shield. I use this light daily, at work and animal rescues at night. It would be convenient if 3 out of 3 options were available immediately without having to reprogram. Also, the moonlight option would be great. I beat the crap out of my tools and this one is keeping up with me.

Definitely a super well constructed and sturdy flashlight. The battery technology is excellent. It can really hold a charge for a super very long time. Also, digital displays are excellent, quite informing. They also provide glass breaking tips. It's a quality flashlight for sure. I've bought two.A drawback is their layout of the buttons. They are somewhat awkwardly laid. The purpose of the 8K lumen output is as a self-defense/panic measure. However, it's not easy to activate because of button layout. It is out of reach fingers and thumb when holding the flashlight. You need to maneuver the flashlight to get to it or have a second hand free.

This thing is wicked

As usual nitecore did not let me down. This light is freaking awesome. Ive own 3 nitecore lights and one I've been using for 8 years. They are very high quality lights

Overall I love this flashlight. They finally went to a mechanical lock. The double press to unlock flashlights I've had in the past always magically seem to unlock themselves in my bag. So far so good with this one. It feels beefy and comfortable in the hand. The little glass breaker nubs also seem to serve as good protection for the actual lens of the light. The buttons are quite nice. They are easy to engage and differentiate between half and full press. Overall this thing just works really well. And the light output is exceptional. This is also something I use at most, several minutes a week at this point. It's for pre-flighting airplanes in the dark. So the battery lasts an exceptionally long time in my use case. This thing is a self-defense device as well as a light. Highly recommend. With a few caveats below.I do have a few minor issues which is why I give it four instead of five.-Not enough brightness settings. You get a lot of customization for a flashlight. Mostly, you can determine what mode the secondary button activates when the flashlight is off and you press and hold either halfway or full. You have two options. That's pretty cool. My gripe is, they put that much effort in, but you only get four main brightness settings. You get 15, 100, 400, and 1500 lumens under the normal cycleable brightness settings. 400 to 1500 is way too big of a gap. I often find that 400 is not quite enough for what I am doing, but 1500 is way too much. There needs to be a setting with 800 or 1000 in there.-The belt clip is too long on the body.My other main gripe is the design of the clip. Overall. It is very nice. It is solid. It will not let go of your belt assuming you don't do anything crazy. I've been a nightcore user for over 12 years now. All the way back to the SRT5 which had the most hilariously useless clip ever. It clipped onto the body and couldn't be trusted for anything. This one is great. Except for the length of the actual cliff. It comes nearly to the edge of the flashlight itself. Like maybe two or three millimeters from the end. What this means is, there's no slide gap for going into your pocket. It ends up being a fiddly process every time you're trying to put it away in a small pocket. You have to get the little glass breaker nubs over the fabric or belt, but then there's no lead up. This means that you have to really really accurately line the light up for the pocket or belt to slide into the clip. It's kind of hard to explain until you actually try it.

This is an outstanding flashlight. I carried it every day until I decided I needed a lighter, smaller light for my pocket, but it stays in my bag in my truck. It is very bright on the highest setting and throws light a long distance. It also has a bunch of various brightness settings and the screen tells you how much time you have using the light at each setting. Highly recommend.

Fantastic flashlight! Exactly as described, prompt delivery, excellent quality. I highly recommend! Comes with regular screws and carbide tipped ones that will break glass. The lockout switch is perfect. Very bright functionality easy to learn. Compact, handy size. What's not to like?!?

Very powerful and bright

Excellent flashlight. Very good for tactical usage with a small form factor. Be cautious because the end near the light source does get hot, which makes sense as it's so small and so bright. Definitely recommend.
