HC65 UHE - Matrix-Design 8-Core UHE optics - Nitecore Singapore

A 2,000 lumen work headlamp that throws a wide, even wash of light over the whole job.

Eight UHE cores behind a matrix lens put more light on the work and less in your eyes.

  • 2,000 lumens, reaching 222 metres on Turbo
  • Wide flood from a 42mm light surface, over 100 degree beam angle
  • High-CRI white for true colour up close, plus a red night mode
  • 31 hours at 100 lumens on the included 4,000mAh 18650
  • USB-C recharge from flat to full in about 2 hours
  • IP68 rated, submersible to 2 metres, 2 metre impact resistance
  • Aero-grade aluminium with a HA III hard-anodised finish
  • 152g all in, on a near-centre-of-gravity bracket

HC65 UHE - wide flood surface light - Nitecore Singapore

Light up the whole work area, not just a coin-sized spot.

WIDE SURFACE FLOOD - The 42mm light-emitting surface spreads an even wash across the bench, the tent or the riverbank. With an over 100 degree beam angle, what your eyes track is what the light covers, so there is no constant head-turning to aim a tight hotspot.

TURBO WHEN YOU NEED REACH - Step up to 2,000 lumens and the beam still reaches 222 metres down a corridor, a trail or a tree line. The output sits on an Advanced Temperature Regulation module that manages heat so the light holds a sensible level during long runs.

HC65 UHE - high CRI white and red auxiliary lights - Nitecore Singapore

The right colour of light for close work, and a red mode that keeps your eyes adjusted.

HIGH-CRI WHITE (CRI≥90) - A dedicated auxiliary white light at 4,500K shows colours as they really are, so wiring, fish, fabric and skin read true under the beam. It runs 40 lumens or a long 8 lumen ultra-low for fine, up-close tasks.

RED NIGHT MODE - The red light holds your night vision and keeps you discreet, useful on a dark camp, a quiet riverbank or a callout. It offers 5 and 15 lumen levels plus a slow-flashing mode for safety and signalling.

HC65 UHE - near-centre-of-gravity bracket - Nitecore Singapore

Sits balanced on your head, so it stays put through a full shift.

NEAR-CENTRE-OF-GRAVITY BRACKET - The weight sits close to your head rather than hanging off the front, which eases pressure on the forehead and keeps the beam steady when you are moving. It is less prone to bounce during active work.

ONE-HANDED, GLOVE-FRIENDLY CONTROLS - Two buttons with different shapes and textures let you find the right one by feel and run the light one-handed. The bracket detaches and tilts with one hand to set the vertical angle, and a lockout mode keeps it from switching on in a bag or tool box.

HC65 UHE - skin-friendly widened headband - Nitecore Singapore

A wider headband that carries the weight and moves sweat away.

WIDENED, BREATHABLE BAND - The 32mm band is wider than a conventional 26mm strap, so it spreads the load and sits comfortably on a long wear. A hollow design keeps it light and breathable, and reflective strips help drivers and others pick you out at night.

STAYS PUT, STAYS DRY - A concealed silicone strip channels sweat to the sides of your head and stops the band sliding. The included top strap adds stability for running, climbing or anything that gets the head moving.

WHY THE HC65 UHE OVER A GENERIC HEADLAMP

Surface flood, not a point light

A 42mm light surface across eight cores lights the whole work area evenly. Single-LED headlamps throw a bright dot you have to keep aiming.

Colour you can trust

A separate high-CRI white light (CRI≥90) shows true colour for close work. Most budget headlamps run one cool white LED that washes colour out.

Rated to take a soaking and a fall

IP68 means submersible to 2 metres, and it survives a 2 metre drop. Splash-only headlamps fail the first time they go under.

Tested figures, not marketing numbers

Output and runtime are certified to ANSI/PLATO FL1, so the lumens and runtime on the box are the lumens and runtime you get.

BUILT FOR THE WAY YOU WORK

Trades & Hard-Hat

Wide flood lights the whole panel or engine bay hands-free. High-CRI white reads wire colours true, and the band carries the weight through a shift.

Campers & Hikers

100 lumens runs 31 hours for camp chores, then Turbo reaches 222 metres to scan the trail. Red mode keeps your eyes adjusted around the tent.

Anglers & Night Work

High-CRI white shows true colour for tying and unhooking, red keeps the swim dark, and IP68 shrugs off spray and the odd dunk.

Search & Rescue

2,000 lumens and 222 metres of reach for a tree-line scan, hands free for ropes and casualties. SOS, beacon and red flash for signalling.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I go straight to the red light instead of cycling through the white modes?

Yes. The red light is on its own control path, so you can switch to it directly to protect your night vision rather than stepping down through every white level first. It offers 5 and 15 lumen levels plus a slow-flashing mode for signalling.

How do I know when the battery is running low?

Four power indicators on the headlamp show the remaining charge at a glance, so you can top up before a shift or a trip rather than being caught out. The included 4,000mAh 18650 recharges over USB-C in about 2 hours.

Can it lock so it stays off inside a bag or tool box?

Yes. A lockout mode disables the buttons so the light stays off in transit, which protects the runtime and avoids heat build-up in a closed bag. You can also unscrew the battery cap for the same effect.

Customer photo review of HC65 UHE (BLACK) - 2000 lumens

This headlamp seriously exceeded my expectations. The build quality feels extremely solid and durable right out of the box. It has a premium feel to it and definitely doesn’t come across as cheap or flimsy. The brightness is incredible, and the different lighting modes make it super versatile whether you’re working outside, camping, or just need reliable hands free light. The strap is comfortable and adjustable, and the overall design looks sleek and modern. I also love how compact it is considering how powerful the light output is. Battery life has been great so far too. For the price, this is honestly one of the best value headlamps I’ve used. Nitecore really nailed the balance between performance, quality, and portability. Easily a 5 star product and something I’d recommend to anyone looking for a reliable high quality light.

Customer photo review of HC75 UHE - 3000 lumens

I have been using a (now discontinued) ThruNite TH30 V2 headlamp (basically a short flashlight turned on its side), which works pretty well, but runs out of battery after 3 hours of continuous use. Although I still have that headlamp, and although I bought 4 spare batteries for it, I decided that I wanted a headlamp with a broader beam and more battery capacity. My current use-case is working in a crawlspace with very little supplemental lighting. If the headlamp goes out, I will not be lost, but it would be rather inconvenient.I bought the Nitecore HC75 UHE as part of a bundle with two extra batteries. The Nitecore HC75 package is very impressive with a nice case. The usage instructions seem a bit complicated since the functionality is complex. The buttons are a bit difficult to find when the headlamp is on your head, and as one reviewer noted, adjusting the brightness level requires turning off the light entirely as part of the process. If this is your only active light source (e.g. in a cave) then adjusting the brightness could be a terrifying experience. For safety, you should always have another light source available, and turned on if pitch-black is not acceptable. The headband seems okay, but it seems difficult to find a tightness adjustment which does not feel too tight, or become too loose. The headband is well made, but this lamp is rather heavy so it is necessary to adjust the headband so it is secure on one's head. The beam brightness and width are controlled by engaging different sets of LEDs in the LED array. There is no mechanical adjustment. While working in the crawlspace, I have only run this headlamp on maximum brightness. As some other reviewers have noted, the actual brightness dims after a short time. I will try using a lower brightness level and see if the brightness holds-up better. The brightness may hold up better if the energy provided to the LEDs is modulated, but it is not likely to hold up better if the enabled LEDs are still running at max.I almost returned this product because the headlamp was not powering back on after charging with an external charger (Nightcore UMS4). Luckily, I learned that the screw cap needs to be tightened as much as possible. Don't just tighten it until it feels snug. It needs to be tightened as much as the threads allow!

Customer photo review of HC65 UHE (BLACK) - 2000 lumens

I got this for running sled dogs at night. I mainly run them on residential streets, but trails even in the dark are something we do too. It's best to run in the colder weather, which also means there is more darkness than there is sunlight. This headlamp does a great job extending beyond 3 rows of dogs and then some - even if the photos don't do that justice. When I am running in the city, I keep the beam lower to the ground to not blind oncoming traffic, as well as to highlight the dogs when we have vehicles pass us. The third photo is not highlighting how well the beam extends beyond the group as I was more looking at the dogs than looking beyond them for guidance, but it shows well how nicely this headlamp lights things up. I want to note, however, I run the dogs with this headlamp in the max setting for safety, so battery life is not great. That being said, having extra batteries on hand from the manufacturer and getting the battery packs are a huge asset especially in use in very cold temperatures since the cold can really deplete any battery fast. I also want to note how awesome the reflective is on the headband. While running the dogs in the city, I really try to light myself and the dogs up with hi-viz gear to avoid getting hit. We have lights, we have reflective on all of us, we have bright hi-viz colors - we do everything to be seen to stay safe. The extra reflective on the headband is just another checked box for loving this headlamp. Some mushers have invested in other spotlight headlamps that have absolutely insane pricing on them, but if you are comfortable grabbing extra batteries for this headlamp and keeping the batteries charged and close to your body to keep them a comfortable temperature, this headlamp will meet your needs if you are unable to get the super insanely priced headlamps that may have better battery life in the cold and at high outputs. My usual run is about 25 minutes to 35 minutes each; I can get about a week of high output use out of one full charge in extreme cold. So roughly 175 - 245 minutes of HO use on one battery charge. On trails this headlamp does a nice job highlighting all the deer looking at us from the woods while still lighting up the trail in front of the dogs. We had a deer run out in front of the dogs one night and we were able to see it before we could collide.

Customer photo review of HC65 UHE (BLACK) - 2000 lumens

This light suprised me, its not big and bulky. Its impressive light weight. Fits hard hat perfectly. The ratching to move it up and down works really nice. Brightness is as advertized. Im liking ease to go full turbo mode with one click or back to normal. Battery seems last long as nitecore make good batteries! * I really most impressed how this seems to have a long throw spot at same time giving you flood lighting also. Nice design!

Customer photo review of HC65 UHE - 2000 lumens (Bundle)

This is by far the best headlamp I have out of the many I had used. Love the lightness on the forehead when using it for hours and the brightness are fantastic for my works.

Customer photo review of HC65 V2 Headlamp - 1750 lumens

It’s amazing bright for night trail runs. Very comfortable and snug, lamp is firming secure on th head with minimum shakes.

Customer photo review of HC65 V2 Headlamp - 1750 lumens

Awesome headlamp! Very lightweight and long runtime especially working in data centre.

Customer photo review of HC65 V2 Headlamp - 1750 lumens

Very light headlamp comparing with old set and long run time on mode 3 and infect mode 3 is bright enough for my work in server room or DC.

I love the headlamps for for my nite job. It really helps me a lot.

Good service. Great product.

Super bright and the battery last a long time. Being in the trades, I have bought quite a few headlamps over the years. With the quality of this light, I expect that this one will last.

A little heavy but works great

I’m an aircraft mechanic and this light it doesn’t work like I was expecting, I think this light is for runners or, hiking if you looking a light for mechanic I recommended nitcore HC35

SO BRIGHT...amazing for night trail running.

Very nice headlamp

This headlamp was procured for professional railroad conductor operations and has consistently demonstrated exceptional efficacy. It exhibits rapid charging capabilities and sustains its charge throughout prolonged shifts, frequently enduring for two to three nights. Its performance is unfailingly reliable, positioning it as an outstanding selection for individuals requiring a dependable headlamp that guarantees uninterrupted illumination. The intuitive press-and-tap functionality for adjusting brightness levels further enhances its convenience.

Best headlamp I’ve ever owned. I use it everyday for work for hours at a time. Battery life is great and love that it has a USB C charge port. It’s light enough that I forget I have it on half the time and the adjustable brightness is perfect! Absolutely worth the money!

“Excellent brightness, long battery life, and reliable for offshore use.”

Headlight is very bright, the strap is a bit wider so it is more comfortable than most. It is a little bulkier but it’s not uncomfortable, I wear it for most my shift at work. Charging it is nice with the light indicators showing the current charge and it does charge fast. Seems to hold a charge for awhile

The best headlamp I've ever owned, and I currently own three or four. Nice and bright with a wide spread. The case is handy too. The only drawback is the cost, but it's worth it for me.

Item is good with very bright light. Quality is also good. Recommend this seller.

Man, old man! If you have a reason to have a really good quality long lasting headlight this is it. Mine came with a 5,500 million amp power battery and lasts a long time. Of course the brighter you have it the last time it lasts. It has a very handy useful 3000 lm output on max. Everything from a concentrated beam to flood beam. Super super super handy to me as a truck driver working around the truck at night such as putting on snow chains over Donner pass. Invest in your profession it’s only $100 Ish.

If you want a good light with long lasting battery performance then Nitecore is the way to go!Pricey but my choice for quality!

One of the best head lamps.

What a powerfull light

Bright, nice headband, great for work light.

Aun no la use pero la abrí y la probé 100 % recomendable. Muy buena luz

Highly recommended! We live in an area with mountain lions (who mostly hunt & travel late at nite). I hike my dog for an hour every nite at 11P and had been using a lite weight Petzel Actik Core (which has been a good headlamp). But I decided it would be safer to use a higher lumen headlamp with a spotlight feature (to better spot eyeball reflections at a longer distance). I purchased a Nitecore HC75 and it has exceeded my expectations. It is heavier than the Actik Core but still in a range I consider comfortable for hiking. It's extremely well built and provides both a spotlight option and the higher lumen options. I usually don't write reviews but this Nitecore model really fit my needs and relieved some of my concerns about not having enough reaction time between spotting a lion going after my dog and deploying my bear spray.

Excellent headlamp, use it every time I go out on a field training exercise with my unit. Excellent battery durability.

I’ve owned and used a few headlamps. The Nitecore HC65 UHE is the best I’ve tried. I own an opal mine in the outback of Australia and use this headlamp while mining and while working outside at night. Opal mining is tough, demanding work. My tools need to do the job and be dependable. This headlamp has a very useful range of settings with a logical and easy to use UI. The uniform brightness across my field of vision is essential while I’m mining. Given its brightness and excellent battery charge life, It’s surprisingly lightweight and comfortable to wear for hours at a time. It’s durable and versatile. The angle of the light is adjustable through a useful range. It’s an excellent headlamp.
