For travel and everyday carry: runs a rechargeable 14500 over USB-C or any AA you can buy anywhere, so you are never stranded for power — 800 lumens, IP68 submersible.
800 lumens that never leaves you stranded for power.
Runs on a rechargeable 14500 over USB-C, or any AA battery you can buy anywhere. The first Nitecore light with the UHi 25 LED.
800-lumen output reaching 250 metres from the NiteLab UHi 25 LED
Dual power: included NL1411R rechargeable 14500, or a single AA
USB-C charging built into the included battery
93mm long, 52g with the battery in
Dual-stage tail switch for one-handed control
IP68 rated, 2m submersible, 2m impact resistant
Aero-grade aluminium, HA III hard-anodised finish
Two-way clip, tail-stand capable
Two ways to power it. Never caught flat.
Recharge it. The included NL1411R 1,100mAh 14500 charges over USB-C right inside the light and delivers the full 800 lumens, so a power bank is all you need on the road.
Or drop in an AA. When you are far from a charger, a single AA from any shop, garage or hotel desk keeps you running. Lithium, alkaline or rechargeable AA all work.
That is the difference between a light you trust on a trip and one that dies at the wrong moment.
800 lumens, 250 metres, from a thumb-sized body.
The NiteLab UHi 25 LED drives 800 lumens and a 250-metre throw, a long reach for a light this small. A smooth reflector and precision optics keep the beam tight where you point it.
Three levels cover the work: a 50-lumen low for close tasks that runs up to 10 hours, a 300-lumen mid for walking, and the full 800-lumen high when you need to see across the car park or down the trail.
The first Nitecore light with the UHi 25 LED.
NiteLab developed the UHi 25 for professional portable lighting, with a round emitting surface that pushes high beam intensity and a clean, far-reaching beam.
Paired with a smooth reflector and Precision Digital Optics, it gives the MT1A Pro the output and throw of a much larger torch in a body that disappears in a pocket.
WHY THE MT1A PRO OVER A STANDARD AA LIGHT
Recharge or replace, your choice
USB-C top-up on the included 14500, or a shop-bought AA when you are off-grid. Most lights lock you into one or the other.
800 lumens, not 350
The UHi 25 LED roughly doubles the output of a typical AA compact and throws to 250 metres, so it earns its place as a primary light.
Sealed to IP68
IP68 means 2 metres submersible, well beyond splash resistant. It keeps working through a downpour or a dropped-in-the-creek moment.
Carries anywhere
52 grams with the battery, a two-way clip, and tail-stand capability for hands-free area light. It travels light and works everywhere.
One-handed control, dual-stage tail switch.
A full press turns the light on and off. A half press steps through the three brightness levels, so you set the output you want without losing your grip or your place.
The U-shaped switch guards against accidental activation in a bag, and a brightness memory brings back your last level every time you switch on.
Built to take the trip with you.
The body is machined from aero-grade aluminium with an HA III hard-anodised finish that resists scratches, and a double-sided scratch-resistant lens coating keeps the beam clean.
IP68 sealing handles 2 metres of submersion and the light shrugs off a 2-metre drop, so rain, rivers and the bottom of a bag are all a non-issue.
BUILT FOR THE WAY YOU TRAVEL
Travel
Recharge over USB-C in the hotel, or buy an AA at any shop when you cannot. Never without light abroad.
Everyday Carry
52 grams on a two-way clip, 800 lumens on tap when an ordinary evening needs more light.
Outdoors
250-metre throw and IP68 sealing for trails and camp, with tail-stand for hands-free area light.
Backup
A torch that runs on the most common battery on earth is the one you want when the power is out.

The 800-lumen High level is available on the NL1411R 14500. On an AA the maximum is 200 lumens, which is normal for the lower voltage and keeps the light running on a battery you can find anywhere.
Yes. Drop in any AA, lithium, alkaline or rechargeable, and the light works. Output tops out at 200 lumens on an AA versus 800 on the included 14500, which is the trade for using a battery you can buy anywhere.
How do I charge it?
The included NL1411R 14500 battery has a USB-C port built in, so you charge the light directly from any USB-C cable or power bank. No separate charger or cradle needed.
Is it actually waterproof?
Yes. The MT1A Pro is rated IP68, which means it handles 2 metres of submersion, not just rain. A spare O-ring is included to maintain the seal over time.

Another torchlight for work! Not that powerful as my few current collections, but it served the purpose in my work. With 1000 lumens, it's actually enough for me. Furthermore, when ever I am out of battery, I can easily replaced with 2 AA size batteries; and that's why I love it. It can also easily kept in my pocket and pouch. It's my new EDC item together with the NEF Nano fan, replacing my oversize items I carried daily. Loves it!

Bought the M2A Pro out of curiosity and pleasantly surprised with how functional it is. It is a no-nonsense compact torchlight that does its job without frills (eg strobe light, strike bezel etc).
Just need something I can bring with me on the plane that can be used interchangeably with the normal AA batteries that you can get easily. Doubles up as a self defense improvised weapon if need be.

It’s small, easy to carry, and easy to use. Simple click of the tail switch to turn on and change brightness. Uses rechargeable lithium 14500 battery, included. AA battery can also be used. Alkaline, Ni-MH, Lithium. Options and accessibility make it an ideal EDC flashlight. Great value and excellent quality. I have many flashlights and this is my favorite AA size light by far.

Over the years I have many AA batteries flash lights but never perform or the light output is too low or battery drain out very soon. This is a very good with powerful long distance light output. The great advantage is able to run on common AA batteries. Very compact and lightweight for traveling 👍
Kong Hian L.5/5Verified
Small, powerful and good for travel accessory.
Thomas T.5/5Verified
Small and powerful. Like that it is light and can tailstand.
Weijie L.5/5Verified
Pros:Solid flashlight. Good simple 3 intensity light, no strobe or other modes. Well made. USB-C rechargeable. Sits lightweight clipped in pocket…rides a little higher than I like. See picture. Loud click to activate but then silent tap/push of tail button to change intensity. Very bright for size which is just barely larger than its rechargeable AA battery. Has double use clip so could easily be clipped on bill of cap for hands free use. Head of light gets warm but not scorching hot with use on high.Tail cap protected by wings to somewhat prevent accidental pocket activation.See pics for highest and lowest in semi dark room at 15’.Cons:Loud click to activate…not stealth model.Have to remove battery to charge.

Very powerful for its small size, the best option that alternates between a powerful battery and a conventional AA battery

Yann Pin T.5/5Verified
Small, compact, and bright......has been a good part of my edc rotation. This light paired up with the MT2a makes a good combination for when the power goes out....the use of AA rechargeables and alkalines makes the lights more versatile.

I can't differentiate the low, medium or high beam. Maybe I am new to this torchlight. Overall, I still like it.
