The whole point of a handheld fan is the airflow it produces, and the NEF Nano's high-speed mini brushless motor reaches 90,000 RPM at top speed. That's more than double the rotational speed of a typical 40,000 RPM consumer handheld fan, which translates to faster cooling on your skin from the moment you switch it on.
Brushless motors run quieter and last longer than their brushed counterparts because there's less mechanical friction. They also draw less current at the same output, helping the battery stretch through longer cooling sessions.
The motor sits inside a directional enclosure that channels airflow forward through the outlet, so very little energy is wasted as side-spill.
The fan blades are made from aerospace-grade alloy and shaped like a turbine. At very high rotational speeds, plastic blades flex and slow down, which is why most handheld fans top out well below the NEF Nano's 12m/s (27 mph) maximum air speed.

How long does it take to fully charge?
About 2.5 hours from empty using a standard 5V/2A USB-C adapter. Lower-output adapters will take longer.
Can I use it while it's charging?
Yes. Plug into a power bank or wall adapter and the fan keeps running while topping up. Useful for long outdoor days where stopping to wait isn't an option.
How do I switch between wind speeds?
Long press the power button to turn the fan on or off. Once it's running, short press to cycle through Level 1 to Level 5. The indicator strip on the side shows the current level.
Will the fan pull my hair into the blades?
The fine honeycomb grid at the air inlet is designed to prevent hair from being drawn into the fan blades. You can hold it near your face or shoulder safely.
Does it remember my last wind speed?
Yes. The level memory function returns the fan to the last setting you used when you turn it on again, so you don't have to cycle through every level each time.
Is it water-resistant?
The NEF Nano is designed for everyday use in dry conditions. Wipe the body with a dry cloth to clean it. Keep the charging port dry and avoid submerging the product in water or any other liquids.

The nitecore fan packs a punch! I am a fast walker, walks to the mrt every weekday morning, always drenched with perspiration by the time i reached the mrt. BUT, now that i have the nitecore fsn, walking is a breeze, literally. The small size fits snugly in pocket, backpack, and i do not perspire as much on my walks now !

Small but powerful! The mini size is super convenient and easy to carry around, which I really love. The only downside is that the fan is quite loud, especially at the higher speed settings.
