Nitecore P23i - 470 metre long throw across open ground - Nitecore Singapore

See the far end of the car park, the treeline or the field.

A peak beam intensity of 55,300 candela pushes the P23i out to 470 metres, so a perimeter scan, a missing-person line search or a check across open ground reaches well past where most duty lights stop.

It is the long-range counterpart to the wider P20iX floodlight. Where a flood fills the room in front of you, the P23i picks out a figure, a sign or a vehicle at distance and holds it steady.

Nitecore P23i - 3000 lumen Luminus SFT-70 LED - Nitecore Singapore

3,000 lumens from a Luminus SFT-70 LED.

The Luminus SFT-70 LED runs through a crystal-coated optical system with Precision Digital Optics Technology (PDOT) for a clean, far-reaching beam. At full output it throws 3,000 lumens, bright enough to light up a stairwell, a yard or a hillside in one press.

That much output also cuts through smoke, fog and heavily tinted glass, so a vehicle stop or a search in poor visibility still gets a usable picture.

First-person beam shots of the P23i across different scenarios.

Strobe the moment you need it, without hunting for a mode.

The 2nd-generation Strobe Ready tailcap puts an instant strobe under your thumb. When the light is off in either user mode, press and hold the MODE button and it fires straight to a disorienting strobe at 3,000 lumens, with no scrolling to get there.

The strobe runs at a randomly changing 16Hz to 20Hz frequency, which the eye struggles to adapt to, so it holds an advantage in a confrontation while your other hand stays free.

Nitecore P23i - dual tail switch tactical and MODE buttons - Nitecore Singapore

One-handed control, by feel, with gloves on.

The dual tail switch keeps everything at the back of the light. The tactical switch gives you momentary-on for a quick look and constant-on for sustained work, while the inset MODE button adjusts output and reaches strobe without you ever shifting grip.

Daily and Tactical user modes let you set the light up the way your shift runs, so it behaves the same way every time you thumb it on.

Nitecore P23i - 3-in-1 U-shaped tactical tail cap - Nitecore Singapore

A U-shaped tail cap that does three jobs.

The 3-in-1 U-shaped tail cap shields the switch against accidental activation in a pocket or kit bag, so the light stays off until you mean to use it.

It also lets the P23i tail-stand for hands-free area light, and takes the included lanyard so it rides on a wrist or a belt loop on a long shift.

Nitecore P23i - silicon nitride ceramic strike bezel glass breaker - Nitecore Singapore

A strike bezel that breaks vehicle glass.

The hardened steel bezel carries blacked-out silicon-nitride ceramic beads that focus all the impact into a single point, shattering a car or building window quickly for a rescue or an escape.

The beads sit smooth against the bezel, so the light still draws and carries cleanly without snagging clothing or the inside of a bag.

Nitecore P23i - built-in USB-C rechargeable charging port - Nitecore Singapore

Charge it from the same cable as your phone.

The built-in USB-C port refills the 5,000mAh battery from flat to full in 3 hours 50 minutes, off a wall plug, a laptop or a power bank, with a reversible plug that goes in either way in the dark.

A power indicator sits beside the charging port and shows the remaining battery power, and it can read out the battery voltage to within 0.1V, so you can check the charge before a shift instead of guessing. A sealed cover keeps water, dust and knocks out of the port between charges, so the only opening in the body stays protected on duty.

Nitecore P23i - NL2150HPi 5000mAh 21700 battery included - Nitecore Singapore

A 5,000mAh 21700 battery, in the box.

The included NITECORE NL2150HPi is a 5,000mAh 21700 cell rated for 15A high output, with dual-way positive and negative terminals at both ends so it drops in either direction. It holds roughly 11% more capacity than an 18650.

Because it is removable, a spare goes straight in for a back-to-back shift, so the light keeps working while one cell charges over USB-C.

Nitecore P23i - 45 hour ultralow runtime - Nitecore Singapore

Four hours of work light, or 45 hours when you ration it.

Mid runs 800 lumens for four hours, enough output to clear a building or work a scene with time to spare. Step down to the 50-lumen Ultralow and the P23i runs for 45 hours, which turns it into a dependable emergency and standby light.

Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) trims output as the head warms, holding performance steady and keeping the body comfortable to grip through a long task.

Nitecore P23i - IP68 rated 2 metre submersible and waterproof - Nitecore Singapore

Rain, mud or a creek, the P23i keeps working.

An IP68 rating means it is sealed and submersible to 2 metres, so a downpour, a dropped-in-the-puddle moment or a wade across a stream is a non-event. Rinse it clean under the tap after a muddy night and carry on.

Nitecore P23i - aero grade aluminium HA III finish 2 metre impact resistant - Nitecore Singapore

Built from aero-grade aluminium, drop after drop.

The body is machined from aero-grade aluminium alloy with an HA III hard-anodised finish, then tested to a 2-metre impact resistance standard, so a fall from a duty belt or a fumble in the dark does not put it out of action.

An anti-impact reverse-polarity protection mechanism guards the circuit against the shock of a hard knock, which matters when the light rides on a sidearm or in a vehicle.

Nitecore P23i - one inch standard tube diameter compact dimensions - Nitecore Singapore

A one-inch tube that fits standard mounts and carries light.

At 143.5mm long with a one-inch (25.4mm) standard tube diameter, the P23i sits in common ring mounts and rides easily in a pocket, a holster or a kit bag.

It weighs 114.5g without the battery, so a full-size, long-throw duty light carries without dragging on a belt through a shift.

WHY THE P23i OVER AN ORDINARY TACTICAL LIGHT

Reach, not just brightness

A 470m throw at 55,300cd identifies a target at distance, where most pocket lights flood the foreground and fade out past 200m.

Strobe the instant you need it

The Strobe Ready tailcap reaches a disorienting strobe in any state with one hold, so you are not scrolling modes in a confrontation.

A rescue tool, not just a light

Hardened steel and ceramic glass-breaker beads shatter vehicle glass for an escape or an extraction when a window is in the way.

Charges and lasts

USB-C tops it up from any phone cable, a removable 5,000mAh cell swaps in seconds, and Ultralow stretches to 45 hours.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I use any 21700 or 18650 battery in it?

No. The P23i runs only on NITECORE 21700 i-Series batteries with an output over 15A, such as the included NL2150HPi. It is not compatible with conventional 21700 or 18650 cells, or with CR123 and RCR123 batteries. The i-Series cell carries the contacts the built-in USB-C charging needs.

Will it switch on by itself in a bag or on a belt?

The 3-in-1 U-shaped tail cap sits proud of the switch and shields it from being pressed by accident, so the P23i stays off in a pocket, a kit bag or the included holster until you mean to use it. The same U-shape also lets the light tail-stand for hands-free area light.

Will it hold 3,000 lumens the whole time?

Turbo is a 30-minute high-output mode, and Advanced Temperature Regulation steps the output down as the head warms to protect the LED and keep the body comfortable to hold. For sustained work, Mid runs 800 lumens for four hours, and High gives 1,500 lumens for two and a half.

The day I received this small tool, there was a power failure in my area that very night. It turned out to be incredibly powerful—once I switched it on, it lit up my entire living room. I really like it.

Nitecore, once again releases a premium product. This is feature packed with a lot of flexibility in how you control your flashlight. Before I get to it all of the features, let me talk about the build quality. This is a all metal construction. Even the buttons have been swapped from their older models from a silicone to a metal one instead. The flashlight is hefty, and the threading to access the battery is smooth and tight, to make sure it keeps the battery compartment safe. The flashlight is designed to be held Nitecore calls it tactical and duty methods. The tactical method is where you hold it with your thumb on the back of the flashlight. There are two buttons on the back. One is default set to the boost and "Lumishield" strobe, meant to blind and disorient whoever you pointed at. At these settings, the flashlight outputs a blinding 5000 lumen. The other thumb button can be used as a toggle on and off, if you tap it, or a push to hold on and release button. Both of these thumb buttons have a half and a full press. The other button available on this flashlight is if you are doing the "duty" hold. This button steps through multiple brightnesses when you tap, or adjusts the light output style if you hold it. For example, you have a spot, mixed, and flood light option. This is done by changing the LED array output. It's not a perfect solution, but it's easier than a mechanical rotation of the lens. There is quite a bit of detail that we can get into regarding adjusting what your default and saved settings are when using each of your buttons, but I will let the instruction manual be that guide.Next I will get into other features that this has. This comes with a MOLLE holster that you can easily clip the flashlight in and out of. There is a metal clip that can be used from the top or the bottom, but this is a little tougher to remove unlike the MOLLE holster that is meant to be quick. They also provide a lanyard that is actually a USB-C cord. It is a very well braided cord that tucks into a plastic sheath, and as a result, you get a wrist lanyard. Where the light is output. You also have three small spheres that are meant to be able to assist with breaking windows. I obviously haven't tested it out, but I trust them. They also pack in a battery adapter that allows you to use smaller batteries. One thing to know is that you have to use their proprietary batteries. And that is because of the required amperage output. The battery that comes with this flashlight outputs at 20 amps. That is required to produce the 5000 lumens for 90 seconds. (the boost mode produces quite a bit of heat, which is why it is limited to 90 seconds.) You can also buy additional batteries from their online store for about 25 US Dollars. Unless you intend on using the flashlight in long stints without any access to charge it, the USBC port is suitable enough, considering they also support fast power delivery charging.Lastly, just like other Nitecore products, you have access to different accessories, like different colored diffusers. This goes well with their "alert" strobe setting. This is their final setting that they have available, that strobes their light at a much slower frequency, and lower lumen output, meant to alert those around you of your presence.Overall, this is an awesome product and is a great step up from some of their previous models. Obviously at this price point it is well in the "premium" territory of products, but you can know for sure that you will be getting a quality product.

Customer photo review of P27iX - 5000 lumens

Here is a note pre flashlight. This thing is build very heavy dusty and feels quite hefty and well made. It has 3 models which is strobe, low, and high. It comes with instructions in the box and the packaging is very nice and of good quality as well. The light functions by two switches on the back. On the back facing button a short press will active the low mode, all the way will activate bright and double tap strobe. There’s another button on the back that goes just between high when slightly depressed and strobe if depressed all the way. It is also rechargeable and comes with a charging cable and a few different styles of a belt clip. It does heat up if on for extended times so be careful as it can get a little warm on the end. It also has different beam patters ranging from flood, spot light, and both, and claims to be 5000 lumens, which it is VERY bright but to my eyes looks more like 2000. Overall iits very well build and a quality light. I think if you’re looking for a very heavy duty light this would make a great option and be something to consider given the value. I’d compare it to one of the nicer streamlights for sure.

Customer photo review of P27iX - 5000 lumens

OMG Brightness Level! Seriously, this thing, with its very high current battery, is AT or nearly at the max current-flow~brightness possible from such a compact device. It gets hot. FAST. The light is so bright that it will burn skin if you put the head of the light directly against your skin (*don't try this at home, folks!). Epic power output.physical quality is top notch. The charge port door is a flip up metal door rather than a rubber door [which is nice], the switch gear and threaded elements are high end. I didn't test the aluminum for alloy composition but it doesn't feel soft [maybe its 7075 or similar] the machining and finish are great. I've no idea of the internals or solid state bits. All in all, this thing is full BOSS mode.very compact about 3/5 to half the size of an old fashioned 2 D-cell battery flashlight many of us grew up with. Easily fits on a belt or in a purse.while the controls are complex, their layout [the User Interface, I suppose] is very well thought out, so much so that the User Experience is intuitive and fast, does not require looking at it, and let's you harness the unbelievable power coming out of this beast.if you're just a hobbies flashlight guy [I mean, who isn't?] Then this thing is expensive! But if you work security, are a cop, military operator, emergency responder of any sort, or have need for a seriously bright and stun-enabling light, then this beasty is a bargain. Seriously, I'm surprised this doesn't have a remote actuation switch port and a picatinny rail mount..This has low power, map-reading mode, a few levels of brightness, and a full-brightness strobe that will visually stun a late night intruder ...easily.It comes with a legit professional belt mount and a compact clip, as well as a spare o-ring and a charge cable that doubles as a lanyard. It uses USB-C. Unfortunately it does not include a storage case, even a small one to hold the spare parts.. also, it would be handy if they could figure out a way to stow the spare o-ring inside the bottom cap.I don't know how good their support is, I haven't tested it however, I did contact them to inquire about how to obtain replacement/spare batteries [it is a special, and *high strung* unit] about a week ago and so far ...zero response. They loose a star for that.4 stars of five, if they respond ill bump this to 5 stars.

Customer photo review of P27iX - 5000 lumens

I’ve finally received my Nitecore P27iX, and I’m honestly blown away by how powerful and well-built it is. I never imagined I would own a flashlight like this, especially one that was given to me through your giveaway. Thank you so much for your generosity and for making this possible. This flashlight will be my new everyday companion, and I truly appreciate the opportunity. Wishing you continued success and more blessings so you can keep making people happy through giveaways like this!

Customer photo review of P27iX - 5000 lumens

I picked up the Nitecore P27iX because I needed a solid, high-output light for EDC and some outdoor stuff. I've gone through a handful of different lights over the years, and my biggest pet peeve is having to click through five different modes just to get the brightness I actually want. This one looked like a solid solution with the customizable dual switch setup.Pros:• The dual switch is awesome since you can set your outputs and jump straight to what you need without cycling through an SOS mode.• It's crazy bright at 5000 lumens and being able to adjust the beam from a tight spot to a wide flood makes it really handy for different situations.• It charges via USB-C and comes with a solid tactical holster and pocket clip right out of the box so you don't have to hunt down accessories.Cons:• Pushing 5000 lumens out of a handheld light generates a ton of heat, so the head warms up pretty quickly on the max setting.• It carries great on a belt with the included holster, but it might be slightly too bulky if you just want to throw it deep in your front pocket.Overall, it’s a really well built piece of gear. If you need something for the range, keeping in the truck, or just a heavy duty EDC light that gives you actual control over the output, it's definitely worth the money.

Customer photo review of P23i - 3000 lumens

This light is stupid bright, compact, and lightweight. I carry it literally everywhere I go. I use it for construction work, and in Asset Recovery/Bail Enforcement. Its been dropped more times than I can count. Its been well used and put to the test of the elements, and I havent had a single problem out of it. The batteries are of top quality, and seem to power this light forever. It would be better if you could stand it up on the tail cap without it falling over, but that is literally my only complaint. I love this light, but the price still seemed a bit high.

Customer photo review of P20iUV - 1800 lumens (365nm UV) (Bundle)

Bright enough to be used in a self-defence situation, with the UV lights having just the right amount of throw to be really useful as a personal-issue investigative tool, this is the ideal balance between form and function. Although it is unable to stand due to the tactical switch, the included holster serves as a very convenient solution and tail-stands extremely well. Was caught in a power failure recently, and this method effectively lit up the room!

Customer photo review of P20iUV - 1800 lumens (365nm UV) (Bundle)

My first nitecore purchase. Never fail to impress me. Every item is solid and of high quality. Do note that the tip of the torch does get really hot when in turbo mode (within a min of usage). Also, I was able to bring along P20IUV and the tactical pen for traveling (to nearby Asian countries). It was placed in my carry-on luggage. The officer did detect the metal and asked to show. I simply replied “oh it’s a torch” and they allowed me to pass through. Tips: if you’re traveling with a female companion, best to let them carry the torch because they look more “innocent” when they say it’s a torch XD. Battery was in the torch, did not bring loose ones. Hope this review is useful to whoever wants to travel. Overall, it’s a great purchase and essential to have! Thanks MJ for the videos he made - it really helps to analyse what item I really need. Good job!

Customer photo review of P20iUV - 1800 lumens (365nm UV) (Bundle)

Very powerful torchlight especially the strobe mode. I hope the uv can be improved as the intensity literally lose to tiki uv. If it can match tiki uv it will be a awesome all rounder function. In addition, I hope there can be a additional mode of 1000 lumens as the second highest for better illumination and battery saving instead of using the full 1800 lumens if the mid of 250 lumens isn't enough to shine.

Customer photo review of P20i - 1800 lumens

Feels sturdy in the hand, good balance. Just started using so durability can’t comment. Light beam really bright and consistent for now.

Handy Torchlight P20i Got the bundle package. What i can say is that the throw distance is better than my previous P22r.. The size is perfect. Where as P22r feels bit bulky when held. Great for patrolling especially when the area is super dark from a far. Added on NTH 25 Tactical holster too.. Will definitely recommend my colleagues to get this bundle package. Good for Traffic Marshal.

Customer photo review of P20iUV - 1800 lumens (365nm UV) (Bundle)

P20iUV product and quality is great and the combo deal or freegift is awesome. its totally perfect for daily operation during my workshift. next getting the perfect holster as riding motorbike using the included holster a bit risky as it might fell off..😅
