Lithium-ion cells lose efficiency rapidly below freezing. The SUMMIT 10000 addresses this with a polyimide (PI) heating element that keeps the internal cells at operating temperature while consuming minimal power from the battery itself.
AUTOMATIC ACTIVATION - Dual temperature detection modules monitor conditions continuously. When the internal temperature drops below 0°C / 32°F during charging or discharging, the heating mode activates on its own. The mode indicator turns red to confirm heating is active. When there is no input or output, short press the Mode Button to manually activate heating.
PREHEATING WHILE CHARGING - Connect the SUMMIT 10000 to an external power source in cold conditions and the preheating function activates with zero power consumption from the internal battery.
