A Blade You Reach While The Tool Stays Folded
The 420HC combo knife sits on the outside of the frame, so it opens with one hand while the Skeletool stays folded. Your other hand keeps hold of the box, the branch or the handlebar.
Once open, the 6.6 cm blade locks into place while you work, then unlocks to fold away for safer handling.
The combo edge pairs a plain section for clean slicing with a serrated section for rope, webbing and straps.

How many ways can I carry it?
Three, out of the box: clipped to a pocket with the replaceable pocket clip, hooked onto a strap or loop by the carabiner, or loose in a pocket. Leatherman sheaths are sold separately if you prefer belt carry.
Is the carabiner rated for climbing?
The carabiner is there to hang the tool off a strap or loop and to open bottles. For anything load-bearing on the wall, use rated climbing hardware and let the Skeletool handle the gear fixes.
